Half way there!

You heard me! We've just taken exit 331 and now we're on our straight shot to Florida :) Lola, my dad's GPS [;)] is doing great! She says we will be there in about 3.5 hours!

We woke up this morning at 4:45, and I didn't even fall asleep until about 2. But, I got up, got a shower, got ready & we did some last minute picking up and packing and were off to my parents with luggage, two dogs, and two fish in the car with us! The girls who are watching their dogs are watching ours too, so we had to go drop them off.

Afterwards, we went to Target for my sister to see when it opens because she wanted to pick something up, we ran through the car wash, got some chicken mini's at chick-fil-a, and went to wal mart for toiletries and film for my new fish eye camera that I am so ready to use!



My sister and Jared are probably 2 hours behind us, due to them locking their keys in the car :O and my parents, and Hanna & Jessica are about 3 hours behing us due to them having exams!

BEACH TOMORROW!

YAY!

As you know, ALL of us [Michael & Me, Mom & Dad, Hanna & her friend Jessica, Kelley & her fiance Jared] are going to the beach tomorrow! Panama City to be exact! I haven't been there since I was just a little girl, we usually go to Gulf Shores, Destin, San Destin. For a while Panama turned into a messy place, but from what I hear, it's all cleaned up and ready to go! We're staying in a new condo and I am SO excited, it's so nice.

Yesterday, I had to get a mani/pedi, of course! How can you go to the beach with your toesies and your nails looking all crazy!? I can't.. And neither could the man who came in to get his feet done while I was there! His exact words are "Hey Lisa, I gotta get my feet done cause I'm going to the beach tomorrow!" Ha! PLUS I'm more than in love with my wedding rings, so I want my nails to look cute. I'm always handing people things with my left hand, or staring at my ring. It's THAT pretty! I'm going to make Michael do it sometime, I have seen so many men get their feet done, NO shame--it feels amazing!

Today, I got to work around 9:30 and here it is 1:30-- Only 1.5 more hours to go until I get off work! Thankfully, It's Michael's early day, so he gets off at 5:30. My sister is going to help me take the dogs to get their nails done at 3:00 and then the hourly countdown begins! Between now, and 6:00AM I have to get their nails done, meet with the sweet girls who are keeping mine & my parents dogs, wash everything, go to walmart, pack our clothes, unload/load/unload the dishes, take the fishies [Tom & Lin] to my parents, clean the apartment up, make sure we have everything, load up, drive to my parents house, say bye to our pups :(, and head to the beach!

Shew, I got tired just typing that--I better get going! :)

Friday I went to my friend of almost SEVENTEEN YEARS wedding and I boo hoo'ed for sure! I can't believe she is married. Gosh, I can't believe I'M married! Sadly, I left my camera at home and didn't get ONE picture of her/us.

Saturday was the benefit concert and here are a few pictures! I know the first few you're probably thinking WHERE IS SHE!? The concert was in the park, but the metal show was at some people from church's house. They guys playing go to church with us, and it's a Christian band, although a lot of freaks show up for the "We-wanna-hit-and-punch-and-fight-one-another moshing deal." Needless to say, I was WAY out of my element and we didn't stick around for long.

We are so blessed to have raised nearly $300 to send to The National Wildlife Federation & Worldvision [Haiti Crisis]

Sunday we went and ate some VERY delicious food that my parent's had made, and then we went to the Marriott Park, Target, then headed to Michael's mom's and she made us some yummy dinner & Strawberry pie! We ended up losing track of time and stayed from about 2:00 until almost 9:00--sheesh!

Needless to say, we were exhausted when we came home last night and all eaten up by mosquitos! We got in bed fairly early for an even earlier MANIC MONDAY--full of working, rain & storms. Oh, and I tanned :)

I'll be leaving shortly to go over to my parent's house to EAT and watch the BACHELORETTE and be meeting Michael over there when he gets off work :]

YAY! It's SUNDAY! That means It's getting to know you sunday.. duh.

But first, I have to tell you the Benefit Concert went GREAT and we raised about 300 and about 200 people showed up in the park! It was so fun and for a great cause :)

Today we woke up around 11:15 or so and got dressed and went to my parent's house and ate some YUMMY food that my daddy cooked and then we went to the park for a little while. I love Sunday with my sweet man! We made a quick run to Target and after that we came to my in-laws house and we sat out on the patio a talked for a while and convinced Michael's mom to grill out for all of us so we're grilling some yummy steaks right now! YAY! I love lazy Sundays and EATING! :)

1. Do you have a fetish? YES. HUGE flower headbands/clips. It's sad. Many times we have been in public and a 5 year old child with a massive flower headband walks by and I say "OH MY GOSH I love your headband!"

3. Who was your first crush? Zachary McMullen when I was like 4. He had a mullet, oh yes!

4. What do you think is the best manly trait a guy could have? Respect for women and EYES. Notice I married into some BEAMING BLUE EYES! Mhmm.

Nights that turn into mornings

It's almost 3:00 in the morning and I honestly can't tell you when the last time I saw 3AM was. Definitely not any time recently, anyways. My husband is probably sound asleep but due to being wide awake and a lot on my little Brain I'm sitting on the couch blogging at 3AM.

I'm about to pass out from a heat stroke or die from boredom, I'm not sure which yet. But i feel like one of them is coming and coming FAST! ;)

Unfortunately i have to wake up with the birds and take michael to work since I had this bright idea to just leave his car there. Why would I even volunteer that on my sleep in day?

I'm rambling. Today (yesterday) was my dads birthday! More to come tomorrow on a post just for him =]

Eeeek! I am so excited! I love wednesdays! Church church church :)

I absolutely love my church, and if I tried to tell you we weren't crazy I'd be lying--CRAZY FOR SOME JESUS! :] I go to the Ark Outreach Ministries in downtown Florence which is tooTOO fun. The people, the music, and the HOLYSPIRIT all know how to really get the flow going! I have been to a few churches in my lifetime, a Baptist, 2 'non-denominational's' and the Ark. And visited a few more. I have never been to ANYTHING like the Ark, so if you're ever in the area EMAIL ME and let me know so you can come for a visit! You won't want to leave, I promise you that!

My little brain is fried from looking at Cruises, trips to Cabo, and Beach getaways for me and husband since our 1 year anniversary is quickly approaching in September! I still have no idea what we're going to do yet [for those of you wondering] but I know we will do something fun and exciting! We can do something fun ANYWHERE.

cruise?

So as you know, our one year anniversary is quickly approaching in September. I am so very excited but it went by so quickly I could cry! I will be the hot mess wife on the first anniversary who cries ALL day because 'It just seemed like yesterday we got hitched..' No, really. I will be.

Michael has always wanted to go on a cruise and our good friends just got back from one a few weeks ago for their honeymoon and absolutely LOVED it. I on the other hand, am a little iffy. I don't know what it is, but something about being in the middle of the ocean, on a boat, scares me to death.

It's like I can't get the reocurring image out of my mind of the Titanic and THAT my friends, is not how I want to die. Now, I know there will be no iceburgs or anything, but I'm also NOT a storm person. What if it storms and our ship just crumples in to little peices and I'm stuck in the middle of the ocean?

Oh my word. Small heart attack.

If you read my blog at all, you know I am such a beach girl. So I started researching online and messaged my moms friend who happens to be a travel agent about where to begin. Of course I fell in love with all the pictures I was seeing from Cozumel and all the wonderful suites!
