So as you know, our one year anniversary is quickly approaching in September. I am so very excited but it went by so quickly I could cry! I will be the hot mess wife on the first anniversary who cries ALL day because 'It just seemed like yesterday we got hitched..' No, really. I will be.
Michael has always wanted to go on a cruise and our good friends just got back from one a few weeks ago for their honeymoon and absolutely LOVED it. I on the other hand, am a little iffy. I don't know what it is, but something about being in the middle of the ocean, on a boat, scares me to death.
It's like I can't get the reocurring image out of my mind of the Titanic and THAT my friends, is not how I want to die. Now, I know there will be no iceburgs or anything, but I'm also NOT a storm person. What if it storms and our ship just crumples in to little peices and I'm stuck in the middle of the ocean?
Oh my word. Small heart attack.
If you read my blog at all, you know I am such a beach girl. So I started researching online and messaged my moms friend who happens to be a travel agent about where to begin. Of course I fell in love with all the pictures I was seeing from Cozumel and all the wonderful suites!
So my questions for you ARE:
Have you ever been on a cruise?
If so, who did you use?
How pricey was it TOTAL?
Did you LOVE it/Do you recommend it?

We went on a cruise when I was 14. There's pretty much something to do for every age! We used Carnival Cruise Line. It was pricey. Pretty much anything you buy you can use your room key so the totals add up at the end when you didn't realize how much you were spending. We loved it, would recommend it and I definately want to go on more!! :-)
Bahhh I just posted a LONG comment and it went away before clicking "post comment". UGH!! butt... what I was going to say...
This is so funny!! Josh and I were considering a cruise as well for our 1 year. WHICH IS ONLY 1 DAY APART FROM YOURS!
The only con's I have heard: The rooms are tiny, tiny and uncomfortable.... but if your fine with that -- GO FOR IT!
let me know - you should post a follow up to all the feedback you recieve, okay? Okay! :)
I have never been on one. My parents have and LOVED it! They used Carnival also. I would rather go to a resort somewhere than float on a boat haha! Just my opinion though!
ive been on 2... carnival & norwegian. i went with my family first & josh's family next & i would have to say that if it were just me & josh going somewhere...i would rather fly then trying to have a romantic vacation on boat surrounded by the same people all week long. i suggest that for a family vacation instead. i would definately pick a resort if it was just you two going.
