Weekend FUN!

Friday night we took a little double date at Ricatonni's with my best friend Katy and her boyfriend Michael H. since Elliott [her son, our God son :)] was at his daddy's house this weekend. We went to eat and then to the park just to talk for a while :)

After that, we went to Katy's so her and Michael H. could say their goodbye's and she came our to our apartment and spend the night with us and we stayed up until 4AM talking. AH! I thought I was going to die, BUT that's why I love best friends! Since Michael had to work all day the next day he stayed up and talked with us for a while and then he went on to sleep.

Saturday we had a lazy girls day & got up and went to the tattoo shop so Katy could get her nose pierced. Since she had to take her belly button ring out while she was pregnant with Elliott [two years ago] it grew up and she's been meaning to get it redone but never has. Well, she mentioned it to me in front of the peircer.. and he re did it for her! :] Two piercings in one day? She's a beast.

Last night Michael and I went to Pizza Hut and then to Rivertown to get a Frappe [YUM!] and then we went to sit with his friend and talk while he had night shift at work!

Today, we woke up too late for church but we got up [this afternoon] and ate our left over Pizza and got ready to go over to Michael's mom's because it was his oldest, younger sister's 20th birthday today! We got her some AMAZING smelling lotions, a make up bag, and yummmmy smelling hand sanitizer with a little thing to carry it on your keys all from bath & body :]

Afterwards, we all came outside and decided to longboard! Michael and the other guys longboarded, I stood on the longboard while Michael held on to me and ran, haha!

We ended up leaving around 9:00 and we are POOPED!
But we had an amazing weekend full of fun, food, family, friends.. and longboarding ;)

Now tomorrow it's back to Monday! These weekends FLY! Hope everyone had a good weekend! And HAPPY MONDAY!

Sad Day/Bath & Body

What a busy day it's been in our house!

This morning I woke up and Michael and I both got ready for work. Today was his off day but he decided to go in for a little bit and work a deal with someone. I was quick to get all of my things done, hoping I could leave early to be with him, and I did! We went to get lunch at Zaxby's and I came back to work for about an hour before we went to get me a haircut.

I wanted my hair cut short so bad, I have had it short before, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it! I knew how bad I would later regret it. So since I was itching for something new, I got some side bangs and layers put in, and my hair looks SO much better! Hopefully a color is coming soon :)

This is how I wanted it cut, so adorable, but glad I didn't do it!

We were going to stop at the new donut shoppe on our way home because Michael said they were UH-may-zing & I was very excited because I LOVE donut holes and Krispy Kreme doesn't have them anymore! Well, we got there and they didn't have any left :( Sad day.

After we left, we went home ONLY TO FIND one of my fish dead. I literally cried for 15 minutes and flushed my fish, and cried some more. True animal lover, right there. Sad day.

So, to make me feel better Michael took me to Logan's we got a 'new' waitress and she was. so. slow. Sad day.

She brought out the steak I was craving oh so badly, and it tasted like hamburger meat. I have NEVER been anything BUT pleased with Logan's.. they are one of my favorites! But tonight was just gross. So I ate a roll, macaronni, and a brownie for dinner. Sad day.

We went to PETCO afterwards because I wanted to buy another fish [welcome to the fam TJ!.. Tom JR.] and I got SO sick, I had the worst stomach ache ever. Sad day.

The ONLY thing that made all of that better, was the fact that I spent ALL of those moments with Michael! Other than the whole 'using the bathroom' thing :)

As you know, every other Thursday is when my AVON orders come! I was so excited because this time around I ordered these 3 fabulous things and I am SO glad I did!


I'm usually very dark complected, but if I lay out in the sun a lot and then NOT lay in the sun not the tanning bed, the real sunshine then my skin looks blotchy, Only on my face. Attractive right? So before that started happening I got this product and it feels soo refreshing! I love MARK.



I decided to try this LEMON SUGAR body wash & body butter and let me tell you, I have never smelt something so wonderful! It is amazing, and is really cheap.

So, from your favorite AVON REP, I think you should try some! :)

Marriage/Wedding + Divorce

I don't really know what it is, but ever since I got married, seeing someone go through a divorce comes as a full-on shock & sends me right in to heartbreak mode.

I just don't understand. I don't understand how a woman can go in to party mode and just "grow apart" from her husband, and I don't understand how a man can not fulfill his duties as a husband after looking into her fathers eyes and promising he would.

Of course, writing this post- I know about 3 couples who are going through a seperation or a divorce right now & for some reason it's so hard for me to see how it just happens. I'm not going go in to details or anything but it's just heartbreaking. I hate it. I hate the enemy, and I hate his ways.

To those couples-
I love each and every one of you. You can pull through, and remember-Satan is just trying to take your life and your marriage with it. Don't give in to his ways, he is evil! Take the love our precious God has shown us and only act through just that! Declare happiness and long lasting marriages over your lives, and tell the devil who has victory! YOU CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO GIVES YOU STRENGTH!

To my husband-
I want you to know you're my favorite. You're my best friend and I love you more than anything in this entire world. I know we will have many more happy days together, and I'd be lying if I said we are never going to argue, but when that day comes- we're going to make it, we're going to be okay. I'm ALWAYS going to be here! I'm so thankful for you and our marriage!

Speaking of marriage..
Our sweet friends Patrick & Lindsey got married on Sunday. Such a cute little wedding in the Birmingham, AL Botanical Gardens. At the end of the month they will be moving to Orlando, FL for YWAM [Youth With A Mission.] There, they will go through learning courses, and be sent on their way to the country the Lord leads them too. THIS, is not surprising at all. Patrick & Lindsey are God-fearing and very VERY adventurous. I can't see them 'settling' anywhere. ALWAYS on the go! One of the sweetest, most kind, Jesus-loving couples you will ever meet!

Funny Story: The wedding was 3 hours away and Michael, John and I rode together, and My little sister, Hanna rode with some of her friends. Me and Hanna hadn't talked since the day before until about 15 minutes or so before she got there. Look who was on the same brain wave!? Sisters!

Our one year anniversary..

..is coming up & we are SO very excited!

Not only are we SO excited about our one year, but we are so excited to share that we have finally figured out where we decided to take a trip!

We're going to take a 16 hour away getaway, and stay there for 4 nights and 5 days! Arriving on September 3, Anniversary on September 5, and leaving September 7 :)

The Beautiful - San Antonio, Texas!

For an amazing price [Thank you Jesus] we will be staying in a luxurious townhome all to ourselves all while exploring the city together! We will be right next to the Riverwalk, Shopping[!], Live Theatre/Movie Theater, Zoo, Seaworld, Restraunts, and much much more!

YAY!

Are any of you from the area & recommend us to do anything?
Michael is from SA, but it's been awhile since he's been, much less 'explored' the city!

ThursDAY&NIGHT :)

Today was a GREEEEEAT day!

I worked from 9:30AM until 2:00PM and then I got to leave :) I went with these two lovelies to put in their apartment application and then we rode around and did some shopping. Surprisingly, I didn't get a thing. We took Elliott in to see my sister at Bath & Body and he LOVED her, it was so precious- too bad I didn't get a picture of him and my sister!



After that, I came home and Michael got here about two hours later. We changed our clothes and went BACK to the mall because I had this shirt I loved and wanted to show him. Well, I didn't get the shirt - because I found other things! I ended up getting this



[and another shirt like it but with butterflies on it, hey- it was buy one get one for half price! ;)]




and a precious Victoria Secret VERRRRRRY comfy sweatshirt that I couldn't find a picture of :(

Now we're home and Michael's getting antsy and ready to go to sleep, as well am I and the pups!

Tomorrow is Friday! YAY!

anniversary recommendations?

I think I probably have the most handsome husband in the world.

Coming back from spending 5 straight days with one another, to both of us working full time stinks SO much. I never realized how much I missed Michael during the days until he isn't there anymore.

I talk about it like he died, or got sent to afghanistan. Although that is thankfully not the case, and he is only about 10 minutes away, I still miss him like he's in afghanistan. Bleh.

We have our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY coming up in September and have YET to book our vacation! It's a big world out there, and we have no idea where we'd like to go!

It's Wednesday! YAY. Church day :)

Sorry I have been such a bad/behind blogger lately, but I just got back from vacation on Monday afternoon and went to see Michael's parents, went to a church Memorial Day thing & went to watch bachelorette and eat at my parents that night, so I didn't actually get IN my apartment until about 10:00!

Yesterday I had to come in super early to work [8:00] since we had a lot to make up for after going on vacation for 5 days, and I didn't get out of here until almost 5:00! I thought I was going to die. SO when I got off I went to tan and then I went home and was very lazy until Michael got home at 7:00. It wasn't too bad, because I only had to be by myself + the dogs for 2 hours. When Mikey got home we went to Pizza Hut and ate together and then watched the Hills :)

TODAY is a much better day. I have come to the conclusion that if you wake up in the morning and actually get ready then you have a better day. I have a more stressful and tired day when I just roll out of bed and go! Tonight is church AND we're going to try the new fro-yo place here called frostbite! Yummmm.

How has everyone been!?
